Hi, One of my big motivations to learn Japanese is so I don't have to be distracted by subtitles when watching subbed anime.And I have heard on this site and many others that we should not use anime as a teaching tool because many of the words are not used in real life conversation. Well, I know that no one is going to yell out Kamehameha or any of the other battle cries or attack names that frequent anime. So other than that, what commonly use anime words or phrases are not really used? I here the word Kimi ("you" from what I understand) a lot in both anime and JPop and I have heard that no one really uses it in real life. Any help will be apprecited. Hi, A friend of mine ask me why I had this weird habit of starting a anime series, but then not finishing the last handful of episodes. I have noticed this as a habit of mine with several series such as Beck(which I have yet to finish), Eureka Seven, Fruits Basket, Hajime no Ippo, Cowboy Bebop, and for the sake of not having you read an essay I'll stop there. Hajime no Ippo alone took me over a year to finish even though I bought the whole series all at once. I find that the reason I have this habit is because when I enjoy a series so much, I don't want it to end. The feeling that after you finish a series and then that's it, there no more episodes ever going to be made, is quite depressing. Now there are some where I buy and don't even watch for maybe a year because I have to be emotionally ready (I know kinda sad, right?). The Place Promised In Our Early Days moved me so much that when 5 Centimeters Per Second came out, it took me 2 years before I watched itt. We should name this "The Shinkai Effect." Anyone else feel the same way when watching anime? Or am I just too emotional and sentimental for my own good? Any help will be apprecited. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. Hi, Strange problem I have, when I host games there are no problems, everything works perfectly. But if I want to play a game which someone else hosts, most of the times I get to the game screen, I see the map, I see the players names list, but my name is red (while others are yellow and green), and I can't do anything, even if I wait. Seldom, it does connect and works fine (I'm able to play a game). I would like to note that the "creating sky" stage of the running process takes more time then I think it should. Hi, OK, I have a project with BPs Default, 1366, 980, 768, 480 and 320. I'm endeavouring to use the Carousel to display 15 photos in the center of the page. The Carousel is not full width - it's sized in each BP so that the 15 images / slides inside the carousel area display in front of a white shape (published as CSS3) that is the "working area" BG, behind which is a full page BG image. Because it's not full width I have left the Full width set to none - (so the checked responsive carousel isn't displayed). The Carousel works, sizes and displays perfectly in the Default, 1366, 980 BPs - but for some reason, in BP 768 the image in slide 1 displays in slide 12 in addition to the image for that slide. The issue is only for slide 12. Two questions 1) Are there any issues/limitations using the carousel across BPs like this? 2) Is there a quick way of fixing the duplicate image display or will you need to see the project? Hi, Or travel/study in Japan? I almost hesitate to tell people that I am currently learning Japanese on my own, because the knee-jerk response always has something to do with Manga or Anime, neither of which I care for. My question is, if I continue to study the language, hopefully to the point of eventually studying for as much as a year in Japan, will I be surrounded constantly by something I choose not to like? Hi, Warning in advance: I'm not a hardcore video-guy (yet), so please forgive my possible lack of knowledge. I just installed the free Resolve 14 (had 12.5 before, worked great) and am experiencing major problems. The program will start just fine until I get to the window where I have to select whether I want to create a new project or if I want to open a old one. It does not matter what I choose to do, as soon as I click "create" (new project) or "open" on an old project Resolve 14 just closes. No crash report or anything, it acts like a regular closure (it also just disappears in the task manager). I'm on a Windows 10 HP machine, i7-2600, 16GB of RAM and an old GTX 550 Ti. Is it my graphics card? The start up system check of Resolve told me it'd be fine for simple editing, which is my goal. I already de- and re-installed the program twice, restarted the computer and updated the graphics driver. Does anyone have a hint for me? Any help will be apprecited. When I was younger our house was burgled - it was scary to come home to, but I was very young and did not feel scared after the locks where changed. I have had three men try to physically assault me (sexual motivation) and managed to fight them off. I do not feel particularly nervous about being a victim of crime these days. Well all I can say is this is the exact thing I was talking about in the asylum seekers thread. Although I can see where its coming from and there will be some legitimate cases, the way that people abuse laws especially race laws for their personal gain just makes these laws completly pointless. I can't belive that they can pass a law which restricts peoples right to even in a comedic sence make fun of religions even if it is their own. This is the kind of law you would expect from somewhere under a dictatorship surely. This would mean that Chris Rock's and in fact most black comedians entire comedy act could not happen and that Blackadder and Monty Python would have been stopped in pre production when they were first being made. Hi, I have noticed that there is a given chance for Blood Elves with golden eyes which is pretty awesome, the fact that you take some time to add such a detail to further the lore of the Blood Elves, thumbs up.I would like to make the argument that the eyes colours of the Blood Elves should be more varied. I am aware that the reason you probably left Alleria with blue eyes, is because it would otherwise be very confusing to a lot of people if she suddenly had green eyes - although according to your lore she should actually have green ??
